🐯 Why Is It Called Tiger Cotton®?
The name traces back to Madhya Pradesh, India, where the first Tiger Cotton® farmers lived and worked alongside the endangered Bengal tiger. Born from a collaboration with WWF India, the project aims to do more than produce sustainable cotton. It creates safe, chemical-free corridors for wildlife to move between nature reserves.
To date, the initiative has helped over 4,000 farmers transition to organic cotton farming. Reducing harmful pesticide use, protecting biodiversity, and supporting healthier, more resilient rural communities.
