At My Elements, being sustainable and reducing our environmental impact is a principle that drives our choices, from design to delivery. From responsibly sourced materials to in-house production that reduces our carbon footprint, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on people and the planet. As part of the creative and commercial supply chain, we fully recognise our environmental responsibilities and strive for continuous improvement in everything we do.

π¦ Our Actions
1. Sustainable Products
- Offer products made from organic, recycled, and responsibly sourced materials.
- Prioritise inks, threads, and embellishments with low environmental impact.
- Continually assess new materials and processes that meet sustainability & environmental standards.
2. In-House Production
- Reduce transport emissions by printing and embroidering in-house.
- Invest in energy-efficient equipment and regularly maintain machinery for optimal performance.
- Operate with a low-waste production model, recycling offcuts and responsibly disposing of consumables.
3. Energy & Emissions
- Source electricity from 100% renewable providers where available.
- Monitor and reduce Scope 1 & 2 emissions (direct fuel use and electricity).
- Transition to eco-friendly transport options for deliveries and business travel.
4. Packaging
- Use recyclable, compostable or reused packaging where possible.
- Avoid plastic unless absolutely necessary β and when used, ensure it is minimal and recyclable.
5. Waste Reduction
- Recycle paper, cardboard, textiles and ink cartridges.
- Digitise workflows to reduce unnecessary paper use.
- Donate or repurpose surplus stock wherever possible.
6. End-of-Life Considerations
- Advise clients on responsible garment disposal, including recycling or reuse schemes.
- Explore take-back or refurbishment schemes in future development phases.
7. Team & Client Engagement
- Train staff on sustainable practices and regularly share updates.
- Educate clients on the environmental benefits of our products and services.
- Promote transparency and collaboration on sustainability goals.
π Measuring Our Impact
We will:
- Conduct annual reviews of our sustainability efforts and environmental impact.
- Track emissions, waste output, and energy usage.
- Set measurable targets, including aiming for carbon neutrality on Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 2050.
